“To bring joy to millions of us!” Corinna Schumacher sheds tears after Michael Schumacher was honored in emotional ceremony FirstSportz

Corinna Schumacher recently won the State Prize of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia for her husband Michael Schumacher. Corrina with her daughter, Gina Schumacher attended the ceremony, Mick Schumacher missed the ceremony due to illness. Michael’s wife had an emotional episode after receiving the award and saw the 7-time world champion honored by the reactions. Michael left Formula 1 in 2012 to stay with his family for the rest of his life.
In 2013, Michael had a horrific accident after falling off a cliff while skiing at Meribel Alpine Resort. It was December 29, 2013 when Schumacher suffered the stroke and brain injuries. Since then, Michael has not opened up to the public and is never seen. He is under care, only his family members are allowed to visit him. Jean Todt is one of them, who occasionally visits the Schumacher family to inquire about Michael’s health.
“I met Michael at Ferrari 30 years ago, lived his passion and brought joy to millions of us!” said Corinna Schumacher.

Jean tweeted about the event after the event and explained the emotional path the ceremony took.
“An emotional ceremony in Cologne to honor Michael Schumacher’s outstanding career and his charitable streak with Corinna, Gina, Mick Schumacher and Henrik Wust.” said Jean Todt.
“It’s natural. Nobody planned it so emotionally that Corinna shed tears, but sometimes it’s good not to always control yourself.” explained Todt.
He gives an update on Michael’s health earlier this weekend. He mentioned that Schumacher’s condition had improved and also remembered the old days with the 7-time world championship in the Ferrari garage.
