“Time flies when you put a gun in your mouth” WWE Legend Kevin Nash makes disturbing comments about his son’s sudden death from cardiac arrest

The death of Kevin Nash’s son prevented him from moving on with his life. In a recent interview, he revealed that he suffered from nagging suicidal thoughts as a result of his traumatic experience.

The WWE Hall of Famer on a recent episode of the Kliq This podcast in which he discussed his struggles with suicidal thoughts and provided insights into his own life. Nash spoke about his sadness at the loss of his son Tristen, who died of cardiac arrest at the age of 26.

“Time flies when you have a gun in your mouth. I mean, time flies when you’re having fun,” Nash said.

As soon as the subject came up, Sean Oliver, one of the show’s co-hosts, tried to change the subject by saying, “Don’t play like that. You have guns, so you can’t say those things. Even so, Nash was already emotionally scarred and he finally replied, “I can do whatever I want. As long as I leave a message.”

Just days before his young son’s untimely death, Nash decided to stop drinking with his son. The former wrestler points the finger at alcohol and also encourages younger generations to abstain from alcoholic beverages.

“Alcohol is the worst… it’s a nasty drug. Everyone out there, if you haven’t been drinking, you’ve probably done yourself an incredible service. When you drink and you’re struggling and you know it’s affecting your life and you know it’s affecting your health, you can’t see the damage it’s doing,” Nash said.

Kevin has been happily married to Tamara for 35 years and Tristen is their only child together. The 63-year-old wrestler described the impact the death of her only child had on her.

“Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I realize is that there are now two people in my house instead of three. And the third person isn’t on vacation or with friends or out late. He’s never coming back. And then I sit up in bed with absolutely nothing to do and it’s like, ‘So why am I getting out of bed?'” Kevin added.

Kevin began his professional wrestling career in 1990 and ended it in 2020.
