Following a 105-98 win over the Pistons, the 46-24 Miami Heat host the game against the 20-49 Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at 8 p.m. EST.
Miami have covered the spread in six of their last nine games while the Thunder have lost seven in a row. They did, however, spread the bets aggressively all season, with a 40-25-4 scoreline for the second-best record in the NBA.
Oklahoma City are looking for revenge after a 103-90 loss to the Heat in November – will they be able to equip a large number on the road or will Miami earn a dominant win? Maybe total is where we should look for value?
Please check odds from WynnBET heart out:
The Thunder have been explosive along the way, with 9-2 to odds (ATS) in their last 11 games, Miami has struggled to hit double digits in both season when they relied on slow, tight play that kept them from scoring. but also lead to closer games.
Anyhow, Oklahoma City is hard to believe at the moment. They have the second-worst net score in the league in the last 15 games with the third-best attack. Miami, on the other hand, has the second-best defensive rating for that period and is once again the suffocating unit we know them.
I think Heat will move in this and that leaves the door open for a rear hatch. They’ve lost two games as a home favorite and thought they’d make it a little easy tonight, so give me the Thunder. But I also like the value on the whole.
The bottom score is 5-2 in the Heat’s last seven games and I don’t understand how Thunder’s score is enough to surpass this total. Only 193 points were scored in the first game between these teams and I think we will see many similar points here.
Pick: Thunder +16.5 (-110) and Under 218 (-110)
