This is how the Adrenaline Rush skill works in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

Lucent Nargacuga is one of the monsters added to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak in Title Update 1, and with it comes new weapons and armor for hunters to craft and equip anywhere. Available after you reach Master Rank 10 and defeat Seething Bazelgeuse, Silver Rathalos, and Gold Rathian, Lucent Nargacuga is a great fight, and the armor you can craft from his materials comes with an equally awesome ability called Adrenaline Rush. Assuming you can keep it active, Adrenaline Rush is a massive buff to your damage and overall combat efficiency.

Here’s how the new skill works and where to get it.

When active, Adrenaline Rush grants a flat +30 bonus to your Attack Rating. To activate it, you need to dodge at just the right time when a monster’s attack is about to land. This requirement makes it particularly good for Switch Ax and Dual Blade users, but any weapon class that relies on dodge can benefit.

There’s only one source of adrenaline rush in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak: Lucent Nargacuga Armor. Unlike Defiance, which comes in decoration form, you must equip Lambent armor to unlock the skill. The Lambent Wristrays gauntlets offer two tiers of Adrenaline Rush and the Lambent Gaiters leg armor offers one tier. Here are the effects of all three tiers of the skill:

  • Level 1 adrenaline rush: While active, you gain a temporary +10 attack power boost.
  • Adrenaline rush level 2: While active, you gain a temporary +15 attack power boost.
  • Level 3 adrenaline rush: While active, you gain a temporary +30 attack power boost.

Equipping both required pieces of Lucent Nargacuga armor will give you the highest bonus, but complete from other awesome abilities like Defiance or Chain Crit that are also present on Leg Armor. Your final choice will depend on your preferences and your ability to consistently dodge monster attacks. If you are not using a type of weapon that relies on it, e.g. B. Greatsword, this skill is not your cup of tea either. If Adrenaline Rush is something you’re interested in, it may well be worth the investment.
