Who doesn’t love the taste of a good home cooked meal? However, these meals do more than just fill up an empty stomach. They offer unique bonuses that can help you achieve victory on the battlefield. It’s time to learn how to cook.

The ability to cook is unlocked in the third chapter after entering your camp. During this time you will also learn how to do chores and other camp facilities. To cook a meal you need to go to the kitchen master, which is located on the map on the left side of the camp in the building next to the caretaker.

Interact with the kitchen master and a menu will appear. Select the Cook a Meal option and the cooking menu will open giving you the option to select the meal you want. Choose what meal you want, and then you have to choose which characters you want to dine with. Make sure you select characters with blue arrows next to their picture. These characters will get a morale boost from your cooking and their support level will also increase slightly.

Benefits of a Homemade Meal

Cooking has more benefits than just boosting morale. Every meal you and your allies eat will nourish you and bring you benefits that will be carried to the battlefield. Some of the possible effects are:

  • The Awakening Gauge fills up slightly faster
  • Weapon durability loss is reduced
  • Slightly fills the Awakening gauge at the start of battle
  • Warrior Gauge fills up slightly faster

Some meals you can cook provide two buffs instead of just one. Make sure you choose wisely when preparing a meal. The benefits of these meals are increased when you prepare them perfectly. Over time you will increase your cooking skills as you upgrade your facilities. Unfortunately, there is no absolute guarantee that you will cook a perfect meal.
