“They should ban him from ever attending the event again,” Sabrina, Serena Williams’ half-sister, is calling for a ban on Will Smith and says his award for inappropriate behavior at the Oscars should be taken away

Will Smith Host Chris Rock’s slap in the face was the most talked about incident at the 2022 Oscars, despite a glamorous evening. The American actor later won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of Richard Willimas, father of Serena Williams, in the film King Richard.

But after the incident, people around the world have called for tougher action against Will Smith for publicly depicting violence. Sabrina Williams, the estranged daughter of Richard Williams and half-sister of Serena Williams, also believes the actor should have his Oscar stripped and a lifetime ban from attending the event.

In an interview with The Sun, Sabrina said you can’t apologize the next minute after losing your mind in public. She agrees that he should be stripped of the Oscar.

“So Will Smith got angry, went overboard and attacked another person. Then two minutes later you just can’t apologize, you’ve lost your mind. Impressive. I agree that he should be stripped of the Oscar.” he said.

She said that she has alopecia and so can vouch that the joke was in bad taste, but what Will did wasn’t warranted. “I have alopecia, I can understand that because I have really bad alopecia. But it’s not the time or the place. If someone insults you, you tell them in private – ‘Hey, you insulted my wife, I laughed at the joke but my wife was offended’.” She added.

“But just going on stage in the middle of an event and hitting someone, going back down and then yelling from your seat. That’s just not appropriate. If they don’t get that thing off his hands, they should keep banning him from attending the event because that’s just ridiculous. I have no sympathy for him because that is just irresponsible behavior.”

Sabrina went on to say that Will probably needs counseling because what he did at the Oscars was very inappropriate. “He probably needs some advice. I’m not saying he has mental health issues, but maybe he can talk to someone because that’s not appropriate behavior. She said.

Sabrina then attacked her father, Richard Williams, asking if Will learned violence from her father’s portrayal in the film. She also called out actors’ privilege, saying that in normal society they would be arrested for that crap.

“Did he also learn violence from my father? Maybe he took things too literally. But these actors are so entitled that they have their own acting privilege — “we can do whatever we want and nobody cares.” She added.

“That’s the proof in the pudding. I can just beat you on stage because a normal person in a normal society would be arrested for that crap. But you’re a celebrity and that doesn’t happen. You don’t fight out of someone while millions of people are watching and then there is no punishment. That’s like saying violence is okay.”
