On SportsKeeda Wrestling’s Writing with Russo, former WWE writer Vince Russo discussed the possibility of Roman Reigns going back to babyface. Russo said that WWE can pick anyone to face Roman Reigns and mentioned that The Usos, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are the ones facing Roman. Russo said that with almost everything done in WWE as a heel, WWE should babyface him again.

Roman Reigns has been a heel since August 2020 and this is the second time he has shown the heel personality. The first time he was a heel was when he was part of “The Shield” stable, which he impersonated until 2014. Roman’s current Heel persona has received rave reviews from the WWE Universe.

Vince Russo explained on the same show that it comes down to business and that Roman Reigns can lose the belts unless there are special circumstances or Roman needs a break from organizing. Russo mentioned Roman’s lengthy career, including his lengthy tenure as a champion and his lengthy time on the road, as one of the reasons he may eventually request a leave of absence from the profession.

“Chris [host Dr. Chris Featherstone], that’s what it boils down to in the end: Business, unless there’s private reasons we don’t know about – well, unless Roman wants to take time off, because that might well be the case. I don’t know, he’s come a long way. He might be the one to say, ‘You know what, I need six months. I need a break.”

Clash at the Castle takes place on September 3rdapprox at the Princes Stadium, Cardiff, Wales.
