The relationship rumor has reignited with a new picture of NRL superstar Nathan Cleary and Matilda’s heroine Mary Fowler

Tongues wag once again as a new picture of NRL superstar Nathan Cleary and Matilda’s heroine Mary Fowler emerges.
The couple became the hot topic of a relationship rumor when it was recently reported that they were spotted eating ice cream together.
The message from Cleary camp that followed was that sometimes an ice cream is just an ice cream.
But now a new picture has emerged showing the couple enjoying a leisurely stroll along the river.
That’s what the Daily Telegraph reported The photo was taken on the banks of the Nepean River on the 8th of August.
The couple stroll along the Great River Walk in Tench Reserve and are seen smiling and enjoying each other’s company.
That date is a Tuesday and follows the Matildas’ victory over Denmark in the knockout stages of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The time of the encounter comes around two weeks before the couple was reportedly spotted at the adidas event where the ice cream story began.
The Hello Sport Podcast team were quick to fuel the prospect of a new Aussie “power couple” having emerged, hinting that an ice cream meant much more.
“Now they are both sponsored by adidas and may have done an event. But you eat ice cream with someone, that’s saying something. They might as well hold hands,” said podcast host Tom Birmingham.
“We don’t have a power couple at the moment, do we?” Birmingham asked.
Fowler is only 20 but following her heroic actions for the Matildas at the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup, she has quickly become one of Australia’s best known sportswomen.
Her graceful movements on the field and her signature black gloves made her an instant fan favorite throughout the tournament.
At 25, Cleary is already considered the NRL king.
The couple follow each other on Instagram, but there were no photos of them together as of this new picture.
Cleary is the captain of Penrith, a double Premier player, a New South Wales representative and an Australian representative.
At Penrith he is coached by his father Ivan Cleary, who is also a former rugby star.
It’s easy to see why a secret romance creates real excitement, and the Hello Sport Podcast team looked to the future, envisioning cooking shows like At Home With The Clearys and a special section on Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens.
The NRL superstar stepped in to put cold water on ‘secret dating’ rumors, but they’ve now reignited.
Cleary was in a relationship with Teah Foot, but it reportedly ended around 12 months ago.
He is not believed to have been in a relationship since then, until now.
Fowler’s gloves attracted a great deal of fascination during the World Championships.
She was initially reticent as to why she was wearing these boots, but later revealed the reason in an interview with former Socceroos goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
“I haven’t told anyone what (the reason for this) is — it’s a little bit silly,” she told Schwarzer.
“But I honestly only wear gloves because I get really restless.
“I usually train with a ring but when it’s cold I wear gloves and at a game I can’t wear a ring so I usually wear gloves.”
Fowler was born in North Queensland, however her father is from Ireland while her mother is from a village in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
