The poster of this FAMOUS movie franchise is destroyed because of CGI-like faces!

Nia Vardalos is back. Or should we say that Toula Portokalos is back with the entire cast of the cult classic My Big Fat Greek Wedding, giving fans goosebumps? Produced on a meager $5 million budget, the 2002 romantic comedy grossed a whopping $368 million despite never making the top spot.
So here’s what we know about the third film in the series, and why fans love the trailer but are ditching the poster!
Fans get emo over new movie trailer

According to YouTube channel Focus Features, My Big Fat Greek Wedding’s third franchise will be released in September, announcing, “Our favorite Big Fat Greek family is back.” Watch the trailer #MyBigFatGreekWedding3in cinemas only on September 8th!”
While the first film actually focuses on Toula Portokalos’ marriage to non-Greek Ian Miller (played by John Corbett), the second film was more about Toula wanting the best for her daughter Paris (Elena Kampouris) and how her parents found out they weren’t married.
Now things have changed and Toula’s father, Gus Portokalos (played by the late actor Michael Constantine) has passed away and the family takes a vacation to Greece to rediscover their roots, with the rest of the cast returning to reprise their roles as well as some new faces.
Fans are loving the trailer and showing their appreciation… One delighted fan wrote: “I’m already crying. My family and I took our first trip to Greece last summer – we actually happened to be there when you were filming! We loved the MBFGW films from the start; They are now a family tradition. I can’t wait to relive the memories with them when we all go to the movies together. Thank you very much.”

Then why is everyone throwing away the movie poster?

Rita Wilson shared the film’s poster a while ago as she is the producer and while all fans are smitten with the film itself, the poster has provoked some wild comments such as…
“What did they do to everyone’s faces on that poster?”
“Absolutely bizarre what was done to the faces on this poster…”
One Instagram user even cheekily asked, “Is the whole thing CGI like the poster?!” While others feared it, “the facetuned pics kinda scare me.”
However, fans just gushed over the film, once again shouting, “I can’t wait. These films are simply the essence of joy, happiness and escapism. I’m so overjoyed that they made a third one, came up with a good storyline, and are keeping the fun going. If I complained, would it be… like there was a wedding here?”
In the meantime, here’s a little refresher with the trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
Can you please do the poster again?

Judging by the trailer and even the image above, all the actors look natural despite this being a film that comes more than two decades after the first. However, the movie poster is nothing but horrible photoshop, as one fan begged her, “I’m so excited! One of the most important film series of my life. We must do this poster again, dear friends. Every single detail of it looks bizarre.”
Here’s another comment: “I love these films, but I have serious questions for the editor of this poster. are you ok who hurt you This is a safe space. Let us talk about it.”
Let’s just focus on the trailer!
