Persona 5 Royal, persona 4 goldsand Persona 3 wearable are all coming to Steam, Atlus confirmed on Monday. The games are also making their way to the PlayStation, but in a slightly more complicated way. Persona 5 Royal will come to PlayStation 5 while the other two games will come to PlayStation 4 according to the Atlus website. This news comes a day after the publisher announced that all three titles will be coming to Xbox platforms and Game Pass over the next year.
individual 5 royal is currently playable on Sony’s latest console via PlayStation 4 backward compatibility. Persona 3 wearable was originally released for PSP, whereas Persona 4 Gold was a PlayStation Vita title. Golden has already come to Steam, but it’s the only mainline Persona game to do so, so this will be a PC first for both portable and royal.
There is no mention of the Persona games coming to Nintendo Switch. The latest entry in the parent series of Persona, Shin Megami Tensei 5, is exclusive to Nintendo Switch and individual 5 Protagonist Joker appeared as a DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. When the Persona titles finally come to the Switch, it’s possible that Nintendo could reveal some ports in its next, undated Nintendo Direct.
Persona 5 Royal coming to Xbox and Game Pass on October 21st Persona 3 wearable and Persona 4 Gold sometime in 2023. Atlus hasn’t announced a release window for the PlayStation 5 and Steam versions of these games, and it’s currently unclear if Persona 5 Royal will be released this October first on Xbox or on all three platforms simultaneously.
