The patch for the TERA console targets the “heavy gold inflation” hitting the game

When is a canceled game not canceled entirely? Of course, if the PC edition is discontinued, the console version will continue. This is the strange state of existence for TERA consolethe PlayStation and Xbox version, which is still chugging along past 2023 TERA was discontinued on PC last year.

And indeed, TERA console is not only approaching its fifth anniversary but has just rolled out a new patch for its fans. The main purpose of this patch is to address an item that was causing “severe” gold inflation in the game.

“When we added Concentrated Ectoplasm, we wanted it to be a new source of gold,” the developers said. “However, the amount of gold delivered by the article was much larger than we anticipated and the reaction to gold inflation was delayed. For this reason, TERA is currently experiencing severe gold inflation. It’s getting late, but we can’t ignore it, so we will take special measures in April.”

The patch also lays the groundwork for Season 8 of its Battle Pass, which launches on March 10th, making some changes to the Reaper class and reorganizing dungeons.
