The Oscars will require proof of vaccination for attendees including nominees, but not performers or presenters.

An invited audience of 2,500 guests, including all nominees, will have to present proof of vaccination against coronavirus and at least two negative PCR tests. But performers and presenters, while undergoing rigorous screening, will not need to present proof of vaccinations. That’s in line with anti-virus safety protocols on some television sets and return to work standards set by Los Angeles County. The change was made after The Hollywood Reporter report last week that there will be no vaccination requirements.
