The new Utah Jazz uniforms are here and they are an abomination

The Utah Jazz unveiled their new uniforms, and ugly doesn’t even begin to define them.

Whoever gave the Utah Jazz the courage to go for this unified combination needs to reevaluate their career.

On Friday, the Jazz released their new jerseys and only one of them is remotely correct while the rest look out of place.

New Utah Jazz uniforms are an assault on the eyes

Why is there a consistent Air Jordan combo with the rest of Nike? While the Jordan brand is partnering with Nike, it’s odd to only see the Jump Man logo on one option.

At least those throwback jersey mountains are blue because they’re freezing and don’t give much life. While I appreciate the attempt, I think of a Coors Light can stuck in the 80’s.

This color choice isn’t bad, and among these four options, it’s going to be the one that people buy the most because it’s ok but poorly executed.

The yellow option is nowhere near highlighter yellow like I assume the Jazz wanted it to be. Instead, they took one of Dwight Shrute’s mustard shirts and bleached it a bit to mimic neon — that’s an insult to Schrute.

The yellow ones don’t go together either. Didn’t any color suit them or is it the lighting in the photo that makes them appear different tones?

On the white jersey it would have been much better if they had left out the mustard yellow from the collar and sleeves. Then it would have been a cool uniform.

This Jordan option is probably second best, but again, the lack of attention to detail throws it off and makes it hideous.

Where is the brand awareness with these uniforms? Utah wanted to go bright but didn’t care if the yellows differed. Did you think people would overlook it?

It’s hard to believe they didn’t think so the more I look at this photo of them. None of this makes sense, and it seems like jazz wanted to do something new, but instead it looks like someone saw a pumpkin and said put that color on everything.

Utah missed the mark with these jersey options and should perhaps return to the drawing board when time permits. Bring back the Sunset uniform and classic blue trim, because those were better than these new abominations. The new Utah Jazz uniforms are here and they are an abomination
