The new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC fixes the Switch version of Coconut Mall

The second wave of Mario Kart 8 deluxeBooster Course Pass downloadable content is here, bringing eight fresh tracks to Nintendo Switch play, including one (technically) brand new: Sky-High Sundae. but Mario Kart 8th Fans will be pleased to hear about another change ushered in by Thursday’s DLC drop in the form of a tweak to Coconut Mall.
Coconut Mall, a title that originally appeared in Mario Kart Wiiwas added Mario Kart 8 deluxe Earlier this year with the release of Wave 1 of the Switch game’s Booster Course Pass. However, Coconut Mall has been slightly altered for its Switch appearance. Towards the end of the course a group of cars coming in Mario Kart WiiThey would move back and forth, standing completely still instead. As of Thursday, however, those cars are moving again — and the Shy Guys behind the wheel will be doing the occasional donut.

These Shy Guys who do stunts now pose a more serious threat to Mario Kart players that will no doubt surprise and delight – and destroy some leads, too. Don’t tell your friends.
Mario Kart 8 deluxeFinally, ‘s Booster Course Pass promises a total of 48 fresh courses remastered from previous Mario Kart games, including the original Super Mario card, Mariokart64, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart 7and Mario Kart Tour. But Nintendo is also planning a few surprises here and there during the launch of the Booster Course Pass, which is expected to stretch across four more DLC drops through 2023.
The Booster Course Pass costs $24.99 and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass members get access to all 48 courses as part of their subscription.
