The new character of Apex Legends, Vantage: Full Ability Kit and Ultimate

Apex Legends has a new character who watches over the battlefield from afar. Vantage, the game’s newest legend, was officially announced last week, but on Thursday, Respawn revealed their full kit. Just like her trailer hinted at, she’s a sniper with an adorable bat named Echo to help her out of sticky situations.

Vantage’s gear specializes in mobility and reconnaissance, with her tactical ability allowing her to quickly move to new locations thanks to Echo. Vantage’s passive allows her to be more accurate at long range by predicting bullet drop, while her ultimate allows her to use her own special sniper rifle to mark targets and deal extra damage.

Vantage is set to arrive as part of Apex Legends‘ next seasonal update, Hunted, scheduled for release on August 9th. Until then, here’s a look at Vantage’s full kit and their abilities from Respawn:

Vantage kit and skills

Passive Ability – Spotter’s Lens

Aim your scope (unarmed or with mid- to long-range scopes) down the sights to explore, and use a bullet drop meter to see where your shots will land.

Tactical Ability – Echo Relocation

Position your winged companion, Echo, then launch towards him. Line of sight is required to launch Echo.

Ultimate Ability – Sniper Mark

Use your custom sniper rifle to mark enemy targets and apply a damage bonus to you and your team.
