The National Weather Service issues a special weather report for the Greeley region

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for the Greeley area on Thursday afternoon with a risk of 50 mph winds and dime-sized hail until 2:45 p.m
The Weather Service says there is a risk of high winds and hail, and shelter in a sturdy structure is advised.
The area affected by the severe weather threat extends from Gilcrest in the south through Greeley, Eaton and Ault to Hereford on the Wyoming border. The threat also includes Briggsdale to the east.
