Today, HBO has released the first major trailer for the coming last of us Live Action TV Series. The show stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. HBO hasn’t shared a specific release date, but it will premiere at some point in 2023.
In the trailer, we see many scenes that seem straight out of the first game, including moments from the game’s chaotic opening segment and sections set in and around collapsed skyscrapers. Interestingly, there’s also a small part in the trailer that seems to be inspired by a scene from the celebrated, fan favourite left behind DLC. That would definitely be welcomed recording in the series, and I hope we see more of that when the HBO original show releases sometime next year.
This new official teaser trailer was released today as part of the year day of the last of us celebrations. Every September 26 (On the same day, the virus reached critical mass in the fiction of the games)Fans around the world are celebrating the series, and it’s also an important day for Sony and Naughty Dog to announce major new projects or events related to the popular PlayStation post-apocalyptic exclusive series.

This trailer gives fans their first big glimpse of the upcoming show, which will also feature stars Parks and Recreation‘s Nick Offerman as the curmudgeon Invoice.
