The Green Hell VR trailer shows how up-close and personal a terrifying survival can be

Developer Incuvo Games has released a new trailer for Green Hell VR. The VR version of this survival title puts players at the heart of the action, allowing them to take survival experience to a whole new level. The trailer coincides with the release of the demo for the VR version currently available on Steam.

Green Hell VR is a fully functional translation of Green Hell for VR headsets. The Steam demo is only available for PC VR headsets like the Oculus Quest 2, and there are currently no plans to bring this version of the game to PSVR. The developer has stated that Green Hell VR will be released for PC in the first half of 2022, but there is no official release date yet at the time of writing.

In Green Hell, the player must survive the hardships in a dense tropical forest. There are predators to worry about, indigenous peoples to fend off, and all sorts of infections to watch out for. This is all without mentioning thirst and hunger. The game is famous as a really immersive survival simulator, one of the most realistic especially in its higher difficulty levels.

Green Hell VR will bring all the mechanics that make basic gameplay fun to VR. Players will find themselves trudging through swamps, sneaking around to make sure they don’t warn of dangerous animals, and spending at least half the time checking their watches for parasites or dehydration.
