The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has sold 500,000 copies worldwide

Capcom has announced that The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has surpassed 500,000 copies sold worldwide. The game is a remaster of Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Two Nintendo 3DS games released exclusively in Japan.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is also the second collection of Ace Attorney titles to be released on modern hardware. Capcom released the Ace Attorney Trilogy, which makes up the first three games in the series, back in February 2019, and since its last sales update, the trilogy has reached 1.4 million copies sold.

There is a possibility of another collection, specifically the Investigations duology, depending on Capcom’s satisfaction with sales of Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The first entry Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth was released on the Nintendo DS in 2009, but its sequel Ace Attorney Investigations 2 was never localized in the west. There are also three other titles on the 3DS that are only available digitally through the eShop.

500,000 units sold is quite an achievement for a visual novel adventure game. Hopefully the Ace Attorney series will continue to thrive as it continues to release quality titles. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has sold 500,000 copies worldwide
