The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been a huge success for Illumination, Nintendo and Universal Pictures since its theatrical release on April 5th. However, what’s not good news, especially for Nintendo, is how many times the entire film has now been tweeted in parts Twitter no longer has a trust and security compliance team.

As The edge reportedsome verified twitter accounts all posted Super Mario Bros. Movie on April 28, with these tweets remaining available until at least April 30. That’s two whole days of free viewing, even if you’re forced to watch it in segments on a tiny phone screen, a far cry from the theatrical experience. Two accounts responsible for this were reportedly banned for violating the Twitter Rules. Even though the full movie tweets keep going offline and you can no longer watch them, people are still finding the original tweets and retweeting them while new accounts seem determined to keep posting the movie.

This isn’t the only movie that’s been tweeted in full recently. The edge noticed that Avatar: The Way of Water has also appeared online. In the meantime I could find something a one minute video that races through the whole of 2008 iron man, which is still on the website at the time of publication.
