The Dungeons and Dragons Online 17th Anniversary Event begins this Wednesday

You know how you hate all those websites that make you feel ancient by reminding you that this and that is so many years old? We hate those sites too. Anyway, Dungeons and Dragons Online meets its 17th anniversary this week, since it was already released on February 28, 2006. That was about a year before the iPhone came out and the same year the original Nintendo Wii was released.

you are so old

Anyway, with the return of the Anniversary Event comes multiple quests, the crazy Anniversary Hall, and tons of rewards to earn. Also, there’s usually a special cape or two thrown into the mix.

Back in January, Standing Stone Games announced they would be wrapping the anniversary with a giveaway: “Our game is celebrating its 17th anniversary this year with fun free content! We will be introducing three new free archetypes and a free dungeon for all players.”
