The Duke in-game Ref goes viral thanks to Coach K’s quote and it’s very reliable

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski wants to speak to referee Joseph Lindsay about an accusation call. Let’s say Lindsay doesn’t want to talk to Coach K.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is on a literal win-or-go scenario. Before the start of the season, Coach K announced that he would retire at the end of the 2021-22 season. Duke is in the Elite Eight as the second seed in the Western Region against the Arkansas Razorbacks #4, and assuming Krzyzewski was fired during the game.

In the first half, Coach K had a disagreement with referee Joseph Lindsay in a penalty situation. Lindsay then repeatedly told Krzyzewski “I’m not talking to you.” That comes courtesy of CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander.

It’s a way to break out of a guaranteed argument.

Either way, Coach K was pleased with what he saw from his team in the first half, as they left the dressing room after the first 20 minutes with a 45-33 lead. To end a half on a high note, Trevor Keels hit three pointers on the buzzer.

With a win, Duke will advance to the Quarter Finals for the first time since 2015, the year Coach K won his last national championship. The Blue Devils want to bring Krzyzewski to retirement with the number 6 title.
