The Daily Grind: Do you still have hope for MMORPGs to flourish in VR?

Every month or so someone will ask about MMORPGs in the VR space, and every month or so we have to nod to a handful of games, the newest and shiniest of which is zenith, which… is still a relatively small indie MMO (and one that’s been funded in part by PC gamers who haven’t gotten their promised version yet). We just haven’t seen big, blockbuster MMOs in virtual reality, despite multiple bubbles and startups that have propelled them over the past decade. Hardware adoption also appears to be slowing again despite the PSVR hype in February.

Do you still have hope for a MMORPG thriving in VR? What kind of MMO would you even see on a VR platform?
