The Crew 2 Season 8 hits the streets of US cities with new courses and a new Battle Pass

Urban racing is a challenge all of its own, as racing game players can probably attest. This challenge is at the core of the final season of the online multiplayer racing game The crew 2which kicked off this week with Season 8 Episode 1, with a series of racetracks in various US cities in tow.

This new season brings back the US Tour event that was part of Season 3, only this time there are city-based courses in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Seattle. The new season promises eight weeks of 16 different events, with two happening each week, as well as eight weekly LIVE Summit events. Finally, a new Motorflix Arena playground on the shores of Lake Michigan will be open to players.

In addition to the new courses and events, Season 8 brings another Battle Pass packed with cosmetics, currency, and cars including the Pagani Zonda F, Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, and Audi RS 5. Cars from previous Battle Passes will also appear in the game’s shop Available for purchase for cash or in-game currency.

The attention boost for the game will surely come in handy as Ubisoft ramps up promotion for the next installment in the franchise.
