After a charismatic comeback with 35 points, the Los Angeles Clippers celebrated a surprise victory over the Washington Wizards with a lot of losses.
Protective slippers Luke Kennard hit a three-pointer as the home audience went wild. Fouled, the Clippers ended the January 25 game against the Wizards 116-115, the victory going to the underrated team.
When the Clippers players returned to the locker room, they attacked Kennard for being the winner of the game. Teammates cheered as they poured water bottles over his head, saving some for their head coach, Tyronn Lue.
“Not me!” Lue yelled as his grateful team poured water over their coach’s head.
The group ended their celebration with one word: “Together.”

As impressive as last night for the current team, their 35-point comeback also makes history. This turned out to be the biggest comeback in Clippers history, and one of the biggest comebacks in NBA history.
At the end of the second half, the Clippers only had 36 points compared to the Wizards’ 66 points.
The Los Angeles team continued to score 40 points in each of the remaining quarters, with spectacular performances by Amir Coffey, Isaiah Hartensteinand Kennard, who scored seven points in the final nine seconds.
Even Kennard couldn’t believe what his team had just achieved.
Like rivals Los Angeles, the Clippers have had a mediocre season, with a 24-25 record. they’re just behind the Lakers with an additional loss, and in ninth place in the Western Conference, the Clippers are still capable of competing for the playoffs, even with their notable absences. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
That’s what makes the Clippers’ comeback and solidarity so amazing: they remind the world that once again, NBA teams don’t always need superstars, but they always need chemistry.
