The Chiefs lack two defense stars against Chargers

With the Kansas City Captains ready to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, the team won’t have two defensive pegs.

One of the most exciting matches on the schedule for Week 15 is undoubtedly the encounter between Chief of Kansas City and the Los Angeles Charger. With it being introduced for some Thursday Night Football, that makes things even more interesting. Unfortunately for KC, they are facing some adversity leading up to the opening match.

On Wednesday, the team announced that the rotation angle L’Jarius Sneed and midfielder Willie Gay will both play. Obviously, this is a big blow for the defense in general.

Missing Chiefs L’Jaruis Sneed and Willie Gay on Thursday was breaking news

With the Chiefs hoping to try and slow down Justin Herbert, missing out on two players in Sneed and Gay is tough news indeed. This year, Herbert made a splash when he displayed his rocket for an arm during the campaign.

Last week against the New York Giants, Herbert hit 275 meters and 3 touchdowns, giving his side an easy win. Having said that, Kansas City’s defense is currently performing quite well.

In the Week 14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the unit excelled. Derek Carr had a day to forget, when the pressure was not stopping on him. Yes, Sneed and Gay facing LA will make things more difficult, but Andy Reid and this team have a ‘next man’ mentality and the rest of the defense will have to step up too.

Hopefully Sneed and Gay will be ready to perform next weekend. For now, this team will go out and try to score a big win without them.
