“The casual fans won’t give a cr*p” Vince Russo questions Triple H’s booking on Raw and accuses him of booking for ‘Marks’ » » FirstSportz

Vince Russo, a name familiar to many wrestling lovers and many not. The reason is that Russo has worked behind the scenes for most of his career. Russo began his WWE career as a freelance writer and later became an editor at the recommendation of Linda McMahon. In 1996, as Monday Night Raw faced stiff competition from its rival promotion WCW, as The Monday Night Nitro skyrocketed in ratings, and Raw continued to fail, Vince McMahon personally called Russo and nurtured him as a creative mind.
Then in 1997, Vince became Chief Writer for Raw and was then involved in creating successful storylines that would give Raw the boost it needed. He played a pivotal role in the creation of the Attitude Era and became close to Vince. Now that Vince is retiring and Triple H is now the Head of Creative, it was expected that differences between the two would soon arise. And it seems Russo is already unhappy with how Triple H has started booking games.

Ex-WWE creative Vince Russo accuses Triple H of booking it for hardcore fans
In a recent interview, Russo accused The Game of booking matches for the “Marks” or what we call the hardcore wrestling fans. He first questioned the Summerslam move of bringing Bayley back with IYO SKY and Dakota Kai when he said: ‘If that’s the reason and you know we see the two new girls come out with Bayley bro book them for the fans they already have. The hardcore and the Marks are going crazy.”
He then also pointed out the recent match between Seth Rollins and Montez Ford on the latest edition of Raw and accused Triple H of booking it for “Marken.” He said, “Bro, as soon as I saw Rollins and Montez Ford I was like, ‘Okay bro, that’s 15 minutes and the Marks are going to go crazy about it and the casual fans aren’t going to give a cr *p. So yeah, I agree with you Chris, but again, if you’re targeting the mass audience, it’s for the wrong reasons bro.”
He began his attack by questioning the length of the bout, saying that casual fans who watch wrestling just for fun wouldn’t pay attention to a 15-minute bout. However, when the ex-WWE writer received significant criticism from fans, he later clarified it on Twitter by saying that he had no heat whatsoever with Triple H, just speaking facts.
