The best and worst parts of every Halo game

Best of all, they did it, they actually stalled the landing. It seems odd that in this era of sprawling canon and movie universes, a trilogy could actually…end. but halo 3 actually pulled it off and married a satisfying resolution with just enough tragedy to make an impact. Then, of course, there’s the fitting send-off for the Master Chief, who floats in space on a fissured interstellar cruiser with none but Cortana, his longtime AI companion, for company. Who can forget her timeless coda: “Wake me, when you need me.”
The worst: nothing. I’ll be honest, I don’t know if I have anything here – or at least anything I would call the “worst” of halo 3 would be frivolous at best. While it’s undoubtedly old, some of its design choices feel ancient when weighed against the metrics of today. halo 3 was as flawless as a video game can get. There’s a reason some longtime fans had, um, dust, yeah, dust in their eyes when they halo 3 server finally closed earlier this year.
