The debut game from Beijing-based development studio eBrain Studio, roguelike platformer Loopmancer packs quite a punch. PC players can take to the streets of Dragon City on July 13th. While console versions for Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox have been promised, there is currently no release date for those platforms.

The HD 2D remake, which was surprisingly announced in a Nintendo Direct in February, puts players in control of seven different heroes from different eras of history. Each has their own story to tell, but the storylines also begin to weave together in enticing ways later on. As well as the graphical overhaul, the game will also feature some voice acting – not bad for an 18 year old title.
