A 14-year-old boy was charged this afternoon with allegedly damaging property at an Adelaide school.
The boy was seen running across an oval when police arrived at Adelaide High School on West Terrace just before 12.30pm.
A police spokesman told 7NEWS.com.au the 14-year-old boy was arrested near Glover Ave and charged with vandalism.

He is accused of throwing objects and breaking windows at the school.
A student who wished to remain anonymous told The Advertiser the incident lasted around five minutes.
“It was so strange that they did an actual lockdown – put down the library barrier and put us in a room,” the student said.
“The teachers were scared and no one knew what was going on.”
It has been reported that the boy will be released on bail and will appear in Adelaide Juvenile Court at a later date.
