The best amiibo

Some of the coolest amiibo are ones with an intriguing gimmick, like the Yarn Yoshi amiibo released for Woolly World. Some of the best amiibo are great renditions of a standard amiibo. For example, the Wolf Link amiibo is a standard figure that’s outstanding for its size and the amount of detail laced all over it. It doesn’t have a unique gimmick but looks high quality and pops out. Some amiibo are hard to come by, but if you want to go out of your way to get an amiibo, we recommend getting one of the ten listed below.

Ena

Capcom has teamed up with Nintendo to release some amiibo based on the Monster Hunter franchise. Inspired by the creatures from Monster Hunter, the amiibo are highly detailed and stand out from typical Nintendo toys. For our money, however, the best Monster Hunter amiibo is Ena. The Ena amiibo is a simple figurine where Ena just stands and holds an egg. Ena’s design is one of the best non-monster designs in Monster Hunter Stories, and her amiibo looks polished and handsome.

Link’s Awakening

Nintendo has released several Amiibo based on Link’s multiple appearances in the Legend of Zelda series. There’s a Toon Link amiibo based on his design in Wind Waker and a Majora’s Mask amiibo based on the game of the same name. Inspired by the Link Awakening remake, the amiibo features a more metallic design. The amiibo’s skin is shiny and polished; it looks more like a mechanical toy than a statue. It is one of Link’s most unique amiibo fans.

Zelda and Loftwing

Like Link, Zelda has had several different amiibo releases based on her. Zelda from Skyward Sword is one of the most popular versions of Zelda, making the Zelda and Loftwing amiibo a must-have for Zelda fans. Similar to the Wolf Link, the Zelda and Loftwing amiibo are highly detailed and have a nice texture. You can feel the springs on the Loftwing when you hold it in your hands.

Metroid Dread presented brand new armor for Samus to wear. The Metroid Dread armor is a mix of red, white, and light blue, which sets it apart from Samus’ other armor. The amiibo version of the armor is pleasing to look at and features a nice mix of colors. The Samus amiibo comes with an EMMI amiibo. EMMI were the new big enemies for Dread. They were huge, sulking robots that chased Samus around the game. Fans love the EMMI’s design and are one of the more pronounced enemies in the franchise.

Gold Mario and Gold Megaman

Capcom teams up with Nintendo again by making a gold Megaman amiibo along with the gold Mario amiibo. Unfortunately, these two gold amiibo are not made of real gold. Due to the rarity of both amiibo, both figures are almost as expensive as gold. These golden amiibo look more like trophies than toys. They’re simple recolors of previously released Mario and Megaman amiibo, but the new paint job works for both figures.

Joker amiibo

When it came time for Joker to get his own amiibo based on his official Super Smash Bros. Ultimate graphic, the designers went all out and incorporated Joker’s fire effect into the official graphic. The fire effect is transparent and made of blue clear plastic. It’s a striking aesthetic choice that really sells the Joker Amiibo as a top quality figure.

Wolf Link

The Wolf Link amiibo is larger than the average amiibo and packed with intricate details. Wolf Link’s texture is rough and ragged, which sets it apart from the other amiibo. The amiibo’s paintwork can be inconsistent, so be careful which one you have. But it’s still one of the most beautiful amiibo that Nintendo has released. It feels and looks good in your hands.

Yarn Yoshi

The Yarn Yoshi amiibo are the most distinctive amiibo Nintendo has ever released. Instead of being a small statue or figurine like the rest of the amiibo, the Yarn Yoshi amiibo were plush toys made out of yarn. Each Yarn Yoshi has a small device inside that is used to scan them onto a console. There was a Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo twice the size of a typical Yarn Yoshi. These amiibo were cute, colorful, and some of the best amiibo Nintendo has ever released.

The Mario Odyssey Wedding Outfit Amiibo are the best cake toppers for a wedding. The wedding outfits worn by Mario, Peach and Bowser are some of the best suits ever worn by any of the characters. Their amiibo are immaculate and well-made; Who doesn’t love Peach in her gorgeous wedding dress? The Mario, Peach, and Bowser wedding outfits are sold as a bundle or as individual editions.

The Samus and Metroid dual pack released for Samus Returns is the best amiibo Nintendo has ever released. Not only are the amiibo well detailed and look amazing, but the Metroid amiibo also has a great gimmick. The Metroid amiibo is made of soft material that allows people to squeeze it as if it were soft jelly. Unfortunately, the Samus Returns double pack is now sold out, making the Metroid amiibo one of the most expensive and hard to get amiibo on the used market.
