The Big 12 have been full of great games this season, and tonight will be no different with the Texas Tech Number 9 vs Oklahoma on tap.
The Red Raiders enter this game as the second-placed team in the Big 12 behind Kansas and draw with Baylor. With some precious games left in the conference round, the Red Raiders need all the wins they can get between now and the end of the month. Texas Tech is on a three-game winning streak including a win over 23 Texas. Here are the odds for this Big 12 match, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
Total: 154 (Above -110/Under -110)
The Red Raiders possess one of my favorite qualities on the college basketball team. They are very balanced in attack and do not rely on a star player to carry. Instead, all of their starting five games have averaged double digits, and four different players have led in points in their last five games. Terrence Shannon Jr is dealing with back spasms, but he has been able to play through the pain and is the main reason the Red Raiders are on a two-game winning streak.
The Sooners are in a bad position here. They are about to leave the congress picture after losing three games in a row and seven of their last eight. Their biggest asset is their three-point shooting ability that ranks 5th nationally in rate. That’s really all they have to do for them. As their record shows, the ball was not deep enough to keep this team in the winning post. I think this team continues to go on the wrong side of the playoff bubble while the Red Raiders continue their short winning streak.
Select: Texas Tech -2.5
