No one is more excited to see the Texas Tech Red Raiders make it to the Sweet Round of 16 other than Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In the game against Notre Dame, senior Kevin Obanor scored 15 points (6 for 12 from the field) and 15 rebounds to secure a brace. Seniors Bryson Williams and McCullar tied the team to second place with 14 points.

Texas Tech will now focus on their match against Duke Blue Devils No. 2. A win will not only secure the Red Raiders a spot in the Elite Eight, but the team will officially end a legendary career as a coach. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, as he will retire after the Blues’ season ends.
