Temtem Posts Preview Images of Patch 1.3’s New Location and Nuzlocke-Like Challenge Mode

If the term “Nuzlocke mode” is unfamiliar to you, then you’re probably not a regular Nuzlocke follower Pokemon: Nuzlocke is a set of player-created, self-imposed rules that force players to use the first wild animal they encounter in an area and release creatures that fall in combat instead of reviving them. It’s a popular challenge in the series’ community, and it looks like it temtem will make it an official mode in the game in its next update.

A A series of thumbnail images from the game’s Twitter account Check out the UI for a “challenge mode” whose rules appear very similar to Nuzlocke’s: “You can only capture two new Temtem in each area, and any knocked out Temtem will be automatically unlocked,” the UI element reads. The account also had a single image preview of a new location only recently. Both features are scheduled for patch 1.3, which has no confirmed release window yet.

What is confirmed by developer Crema is a patch to fix crashes on the Nintendo Switch, which is caused by the game overloading the system memory. The patch should arrive sometime this week while it goes through the verification process.
