Teens arrested in church arson, Montgomery authorities say

A youth has been arrested and charged in connection with recent incidents of arson and vandalism at two churches in Montgomery County, Maryland, the Fire Department said.

According to Pete Piringer, spokesman for the county’s Fire and Rescue Service, the matter is being considered in juvenile court.

He said Monday the incidents happened on July 9 and 10 at two churches on Old Georgetown Road in the North Bethesda area.
