Tears of the Kingdom – Treasure of the Secret Springs location

There are several side quests to complete in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and these will certainly keep you busy alongside the main story quests that will take you throughout Hyrule. One of these side quests, Treasure of the Secret Springs, is given to you by Tulin.
Tulin is in Rito Village after completing Wind Temple and is happy to talk to you. The first thing he shared with us was a secret treasure hidden under a hot spring near the village of Rito. We had few leads, but what Tulin told us from a book might make it easier to track down. Here’s how to find the secret springs treasure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to find the secret springs treasure in Tears of the Kingdom
The Treasure of Secret Sources side quest becomes available after completing Wind Temple in TotK. If this main story quest has not been completed, the quest will not appear and Tulin will not be in Rito Village to provide it.

When Tulin is there, he narrates a passage from a book he found that says, “Sturnida, Goflam, and Sherfin. At the center of the three secret hot springs in the mountains lies a hidden treasure. Lead the three waters to this place. As it fills up, the slumbering treasure will awaken once more.” Aside from these details, we’re not given many other clues as to where to go, but we know it is northwest of Rito Village.
Given Rito Village’s location, we’re not left with too many options. Our best recommendation is to use Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and use it to reach the middle of the mountains and aim at the target south of Hebra North Summit. Searching this region, we were able to locate a sealed cave and discover the secrets it contained that led us to the Tulin Hot Springs mentioned in the book.

The cave is protected by a large block of ice. We were able to send it out quickly by attaching one Flame Blaster Zonai weapon to one of the weapons and melts it down.

After the ice barrier melted, we set off the cave called North Biron Snowshelf Cave and discovered a hidden place below. It was a hot spring with a stream of air in the middle, which was a bit of a puzzle – based on Tulin’s book, we had to solve the quest Bring the water back to the hot springs from the three springs of water.

This means that we had to fly up the airstream with our glider, descend at the summit and then perform the arrow attack in slow motion, attaching a bomb to the end and destroying the passages blocking the water. Three locations should be destroyed to bring more water to the hot springs. There are empty corridors down here that contain bomb flowers in case we need more.

After all three blocked water passages have been cleared, the stone statue below will move and unblock one hidden way. We flew down to check it out and found the treasure we were looking for: the Vah Medoh Divine Helmwhich gives us cold resistance when wearing.
