Tears of the Kingdom – How to Solve Gemimik Shrine Puzzle in TotK

If the spiraling design of the Rist Peninsula on the map isn’t enough to grab your attention, there’s something else that will pique your curiosity: Tears of the Kingdom Gem Shrine Is there. Players who delve into this shrine are greeted by a bunch of new mechanics, including floating torches, a yellow power generator, and a metal plate on the floor. Unfortunately, this riddle is the only thing that prevents us from reaching the end of this shrine and getting another light of blessing.

How to start Gemimik Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom

The Gemimik Shrine is located in the Rist Peninsula, east of the Akkala Highlands. The quickest way to reach this shrine is to teleport to the Uri Mountain Skyview Tower and glide to the spiral island to the east. Unfortunately, this area is guarded by many Aerocludas. So prepare yourself with some arrows.

How to solve Gemimik Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom

To solve this TotK puzzle, Light all floating torches. While easier said than done, the following steps will help you complete the Gemimik Shrine.

First, grab the fan on the right with Ultrahand. Then take the fan on the stand and fix it in the middle of the turbine.

Now that the fan is in place, turn it on to spin it up. There is a metal plate to the left of the puzzle. Grab it with Ultrahand and drop it near the yellow power generator to connect it to the fan turbine.

The fan is spinning now, so take advantage of the gust of wind that propels you. On the platform on the right is a Tears of the Kingdom treasure chest with a level 50 Zonaite shield. Then on the platform on the left, some Flame Blasters will come in handy for this puzzle.

Grab a flame blaster with Ultrahand and drop it on the lower floor. Next, go to the lower floor, grab the flame blaster again and Attach it to one of the fan blades to make it spin. This will light the torches and open the gates guarding the final statue.

After the puzzle is solved, players can grab their Light of Blessing and go in search of the other puzzles hidden in Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom.
