A teacher who quit her job to become a full-time “housewife” has shared an insight into her daily routine when her boyfriend goes to work.
Summer Hawkins, from the UK, met property mogul Biggs-Marvin Chris, a former Love Island contestant, at a nightclub after the couple connected on social media in 2021.
The 28-year-old said her boyfriend of five months spontaneously asked her to move from Bristol to Glasgow, 600km away, to live with him – and assured her he would always look after her.

Speaking to the Mirror, Summer explained how “delighted” she was to accept his offer as she was struggling to make ends meet due to her expensive rent.
After quitting her job as a primary school teacher, she now takes care of her boyfriend who works up to 10 hours a day.
Giving a glimpse into her daily life, she said she wakes up early every morning before Biggs turns on the shower for him so it’s “nice and hot for him when he comes in”.
Then she makes her boyfriend a hot cup of chocolate and “he gets what he wants” for breakfast.
After kissing him goodbye, Summer said she started cleaning the living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom.
She usually spends the rest of the afternoon walking her dog Prince, shopping, going to the gym or getting beauty treatments.
When Biggs is done with work, the couple enjoys dinner and a movie or a quiet night on the couch at home.
“Biggs shows me how much he appreciates me by occasionally washing his own plate after breakfast,” she said.
“He also brings me flowers, chocolates and stuffed animals and says, ‘Thank you for making the house a home.’ On special occasions he spoils me with designer bags and shoes.”
Summer said her boyfriend “pays for everything” and will wire her money if she needs to pay a ticket or buy a new outfit.
“I’ll wait and see how much he gives me and then I’ll stick with that budget. I never want to look like I’m using it. I depend on him, but I don’t mind that,” she said.
The former teacher says her boyfriend covers what she describes as “male stuff” — including mortgages, bills and gas.
“I don’t have a single stress in my life, so when Biggs is stressed I can give him my full attention,” she said.
“It’s my choice and I love my life.”
