Talk Like a Pirate Day around the MMO world, 2023 edition
When the internet was younger, Talk Like a Pirate Day was a huge event, harmless fun that every brand and MMO got involved in. It’s smaller now – storybook pirates have lost some of their cultural prestige – but there are still some MMOs that make the effort. Namely:
World of Warcraft celebrates the day with the return of Dread Captain DeMeza to Booty Bay; Players can spend an incredible amount of gold on his Drake armor cosmetics.
Adventure Quest 3D has gone all out with a “Pirate Party Island” full of nonsense, mobs and loot. The first event took place at 3:00 p.m. EDT, but there is a second one this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. EDT for North and South American audiences.
And then there is Sea of Thieves, which is truly the most suitable MMO for pirates as it literally does everything all day long. There are Themed items in the cash shop to.

The Legends of the Pirates online The rogue server for Pirates of the Caribbean points out that the original game was canceled 10 years ago today (damn, really Disney?).
Ten years ago, Pirates Online closed on September 19, 2013; leaving their community heartbroken and abandoned.
These days, Pirates Online isn’t just a distant memory.

We had to check in Puzzle Pirateswhere there doesn’t appear to be a TLAPD event, but there are some sales going on.
