Mohsin Khan grabs 4 crucial wickets

Speaking of the game, LSG won the toss and chose to bowl first. LSG openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock were eliminated and the former played an excellent inning, hitting 77 runs in 51 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes before surrendering his wicket to Shardul Thakur in the 19th over.
Deepak Hooda backed up Rahul on the other end, playing a 52-of-34 knock with 6 fours and a six. He conceded his wicket to Shardul Thakur in the 15th over. Only Shardul Thakur picked three wickets while other bowlers went wicketless and LSG was able to set a target of 195/3.
The Capitals responded by losing first batsmen Prithvi Shaw and David Warner before the power play. But Mitchell Marsh played a quick knock of 37 in 20 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. But in the 8th over Krishnappa Gowtham played a flatter ball and Marsh seemed to smack it towards the extra cover region but he got the outside edge and de Kock caught a sharp catch from behind the wickets. But UltraEdge showed there was no bat involvement and DC made a big mistake when Marsh didn’t take the review and backtracked.
DC skipper Rishabh Pant scored 44 balls from 30 by hitting 7 fours and a six. In Mohsin Khan’s 13th over, he rolled a full and straight delivery down the middle and the ball snuck through Pant’s pad and bat, ruining the stumps.
Rovman Powell tried to play a quick knock of 35 from 21 carries with 3 fours and 2 sixes, but young Mohsin rolled a short one and Powell pulled it deep in the middle of the wicket to give Krunal Pandya his catch. Mohsin chose four gates; first by firing David Warner, Rishabh Pant, Rovman Powell and Shardul Thakur. He conceded 16 runs in his 4 overs.
Axar Patel’s brilliant unbeaten 42 from 24 ball didn’t help DC as Lucknow beat them by 6 runs.
