Swords of Legends Online continues to focus its updates on cash shop items rather than content

At the top of this year we wondered what happened Swords of Legends Online and found the answer was a constantly updated cash shop… and not much more. We’re coming back to this one in vain hopes that playable content updates have been made, but it looks like that hasn’t been the case.

Browsing through the update history on Steam shows literally nothing other than adding and selling cash shop items that provide additional cash shop currency when bundles are purchased. The outfit bundles in question even follow seasonal themes and hint at their release as events, while playable events or new content updates have not been developed or released as the patch notes section of the forums merely announces regular server maintenance.

This maintenance mod/development focus continues to anger fans as Steam reviews primarily blame publisher Gameforge. Whatever the reason or the culprit, SOLO appears to be still lying dead in the water.
