Swayman, Bruins empty Nashville, 2-0

In Nashville, Jeremy Swayman made 42 saves for the Boston Bruins in a 2-0 win over the Predators on Thursday night.
“It was fun to watch,” Swayman said. “The boys took pride in the defensive area and also in the offensive area. I had the best seat in the house watching them work, play together, a lot of the talk happening on the tape. It’s a really fun game to be a part of. It was a great team win. ”
Jake DeBrusk scored in the first game to give Boston a 1-0 lead.
Team Bruins improved to 12-8-0.
“I think we wanted to create a few more messes in front of the net, some second and third chances, especially when a goalkeeper plays so well, find a way to do that,” said the Predators. ‘ Ryan Johansen speak. “But obviously we did a great job spending time in their area and making money there. Their goalkeeper played great tonight.”
Brandon Carlo scored in the center goal to make it 2-0.
Nashville drops to 12-10-1.
“I think overall, we played a pretty solid game,” said Predators head coach John Hynes. “I think we created a lot of attacking time zones, a lot of pressure, a lot of A-list opportunities. But we weren’t able to capitalize on tonight.”
Juuse Saros made 31 saves in the loss to Nashville.
