What is the great opportunity for both? UFC Vegas 48 main event competitors to rise in the UFC light heavyweight rankings, Jamahal Hill sent a message with a powerful Johnny Walker knockdown.
The pair spent about a minute getting a feel for each other, with both men hurling stones and Walker looking to rush in with confusion at one point.
Hill, however, was pushed back with pressure of his own. And it was he who finally paid off.
Hill, reading a punch from the oncoming Walker, dropped a high-impact hook that sent Walker to his temple, dropping him decisively onto the canvas from the cold.

Hill is undefeated in 2020 after earning a contract through Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Darko Stosic and Ovince Saint Preux (along with a win over Klidson Abreu that was overturned). Hill was defeated by Paul Craig at UFC 263but he came back with a knock-out Jimmy Crute in the extra minute.
Walker, an alumnus of DWCS Brazil, hit the stage in impressive style through finishing touches from Khalil Rountree Jr., Justin Ledet and Misha Cirkunov. But his hype train was derailed by losses to Corey Anderson and Nikita Krylov.
Walker beat Ryan Spann in September 2020 but didn’t rematch until UFC Vegas 38 in October, where he lost to Thiago Santos.
