Sunshine will fade to clouds as showers hit Maryland midweek – CBS Baltimore


BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Marylanders experienced a windy and mostly cloudy Sunday with scattered speckles.
The winds were noticeable all day.

Overnight, as skies clear, winds are expected to ease somewhat and temperatures are expected to cool again.
People across the state could experience temperature lows in the 30s.
On Monday there will be sunshine, but only at the beginning of the day.
Clouds increase later in the day as a warm front approaches.
The temperature will feel a bit milder in the afternoon but is almost normal for an early April day.

Showers return to Maryland on Tuesday, especially later in the day.
These showers will continue until Wednesday.
Some moderate rain is likely, with amounts ranging from a third to a half inch.
There may also be isolated showers on Wednesday.
Temperatures will average a few degrees above the midweek normal of 62 degrees.
More showers are likely on Thursday and Friday.

So those April showers will certainly be present in the week ahead as Baltimore heads into Orioles opening day.
