Summer Game Fest 2023 begins now – expect Throne & Liberty, Wayfinder and more!

[We’re updating at the end of this post with all the big MMO news!]

Taking place today, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest is the closest thing to E3 we’ll see in the foreseeable future. We know of at least a few MMORPGs and MMO-related titles with trailers being shown at today’s event, including NCsoft’s throne and liberty (which teased a teaser) and wayfinder (which informed Discord fans that they could expect a trailer, but no details on the Founder’s Packs and Early Access – “We will make an announcement closer to the date when we feel satisfied and confident that that we’re able to deliver an Early Access experience.” “A rock solid foundation for the future of Wayfinder,” wrote Airship Syndicate). A first look at Fortnite’s The new Wilds season is also upon us.

By the way, if you’re planning to stream together (or hope we do), you should know that NBC Universal canceled the Game Awards co-streams last winter due to the commercial for the movie “The Super Mario Bros.” during last winter’s show has been disqualified due to copyright claims, because this really is the dumbest timeline.

The show begins this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. EDT when this article goes online, and we’ll update it with portions relevant to us once it’s published.

Path of Exile 2

GGG has released a teaser trailer POU2. No details, but more information is expected later this summer at ExileCon.

Nick Cage

Okay, this has nothing to do with MMOs, but it was hilarious to see Nicholas Cage on stage beefing up Dead by Daylight.
