Students hit the slopes in Towson after the third Snow Day of the week in Baltimore County – CBS Baltimore

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) – After snow fell across the Baltimore area on Friday, many schools closed again, and some students went downhill skiing for a day.
Running fast in the snowy hills outside of Baltimore County Public Schools has become somewhat of a tradition for Joseph Fassio and Ethan Grace.
“We’re just here to joke around, yes and mostly racing,” says Joseph.
Friday marks the third snow day of the week for Baltimore County Public Schools, giving Joseph and Ethan plenty of time to try out the new snowmobiles that also function as a snowboard they have for Christmas. .

“Sometimes you can stand on them, sometimes you can lie on top of them, but they go really fast,” says Ethan.
Ian McFadden also went to the same hill for many years with his children.

“This is one of our favorite hills to go to anytime it snows. If we had a little more time, we’d be here,” McFadden said.
