Street Fighter 6 is ready to rumble with WWE star Zelina Vega providing colorful commentary
The latest Color Commentator for Street Fighter 6 will already be familiar to fighting fans, as WWE Star Zelina Vega will be providing the voice for the game. This latest Capcom/WWE collaboration was revealed during Royal Rumble 2023, when Zelina Vega entered the Women’s Royal Rumble match in a Juri costume.

Street Fighter 6 will feature numerous commentators as it has a color comment feature that allows players to use various real life celebrities to name their matches, with the likes of Tasty Steve and James Chen already confirmed for the game. The latest commentator to be announced is Thea Trinidad, better known as WWE Star Zelina Vega, with a new trailer showing off her vocal prowess as she announces a match between Juri and Kimberly.
Zelina Vega has worn fighting game costumes at WWE shows in the past, as she dressed up as Vega from Street Fighter during the 2019 Royal Rumble. These outfits go beyond Street Fighter as she has also worn Mortal Kombat costumes during the games including dressing like Sindel during the Royal Rumble 2020. Zelina Vega is a big fan of real life games and has a history of having characters like Cosplayed Rayne from Bloodrayne, Jinx from League of Legends, Sombra from Overwatch, and Morrigan from Darkstalkers.
No one expected Zelina Vega to follow in the career footsteps of Jerry the King Lawler and Jim Ross, but she fits perfectly as a color commentator in Street Fighter 6 given her love of gaming. In professional fighting games, commentary is more about energy and enthusiasm than knowing the moves’ names, which is why Capcom made the new commentary feature work in the first place, and why fans are so excited it’s being included in the game since it can make all games feel like they are playing a real tournament.
