Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was given a technical foul in Game 4 of the NBA Finals after arguing over a travel violation.
That Warriors of the Golden State were reeling after their 116-100 loss in Game 3 to the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. After trailing 2-1, the Warriors had to recover tremendously in Game 4 on Friday night to avoid the dreaded 3-1 deficit.
Midway through the second quarter, Payton Pritchard tried to shoot but was fouled by Jordan Poole. The first whistle was followed by one when Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was called out for a technical foul. Kerr yelled at the umpires to convict Pritchard of a travel violation.

Despite the “Call a Travel” call, it didn’t bring the foul Kerr was looking for early in Game 4. Luckily for Kerr and Golden State, Pritchard missed one of his two free throw attempts, giving Golden State a 37-35 lead.
At halftime, the Celtics led the Warriors 54-49. Warriors fans won’t like the fact that the team only had five free throw attempts in the first 24 minutes of play, as opposed to the Celtics’ 15 attempts.
Pritchard not being called on a trip was too much for Kerr, and he had to let local officials hear about it.
