Steph Curry wasn’t afraid to roast Charles Barkley’s golf game

Steph Curry wasted no time roasting Charles Barkley during an interview, which is hilarious.

While Charles Barkley has improved his golf swing, he hasn’t improved enough for Steph Curry to give him the right he deserves. This week, celebrities of all stripes are taking part in the American Century Championship, and Barkley has bet he will finish in the top 70.

Some celebrities like Tony Romo thought he could pull it off, and after a T76 last year it doesn’t seem too far-fetched, but for Curry the answer was simple.

When asked if he thought Barkley could make the top 70 or not, Curry was quick to say no, along with a few other things, but it was hilarious because there was an intent behind that no.

Steph Curry knows Charles Barkley is not a sure thing

The video speaks for itself, but it’s pretty hilarious that anyone would smack Barkley when he’s notorious for having an awful swing. Curry knows what kind of player Barkley is, which makes it funnier when he just blasts that question.

Anyone in their right mind wouldn’t bet on Barkley finishing in the top 70, but obviously There are many people willing to make that bet.

Barkley may have improved his golf swing, but there are far better players out there who should be finishing better than him. He’s not good at golf, but people spend the money. Curry knows that and how ridiculous it is for anyone to bet on Barkley doing well in a golf tournament.

The whole Barkley bet on the Celtics instead of the Warriors comment was also a great dig by Curry since the Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship. If Barkley picked the wrong bet, what makes this situation any better?

It’s not because Barkley won’t make the top 70, and if he does, it’s going to be one of the best golf games he’s ever played.

Curry knows this, and the burn he inflicted on Barkley in the interview should live on infamously. I also love the “take it on tape and play it to him on every tee” moment, because he knows Barkley won’t use it as motivation, and even if he wanted to, it wouldn’t help.

It’s really shocking to see people make that bet on someone who could have the yips right away, but because he’s claiming he’ll finish in the top 70, they make that bet.

Time will tell if Barkley is in the top 70, but Curry will likely be right that it won’t happen or will almost happen.
