Steam Survival Fest: 20 Great Games to Touch

Steam Survival Fest is here, and it brings tons of discounts on all kinds of survival games. But much like Steam’s Going Rogue event in May, Survival Fest is about more than just sales – it’s a curation project designed to bring you all kinds of survival games.

Steam Survival Fest runs from August 1st to August 8th and features action, horror, adventure, RPG, strategy, free-to-play and even VR games. Steam’s definition of a “survival” game here is pretty broad – including the event Apex Legends in its popular track listing, for example – but seems to focus mostly on making games involving hunger and thirst gauges. Some of these games are about individual survival, such as rustbut there are also games like Oxygen not includedwhich tasks you with controlling an entire colony of humans.

If you go to the Steam page for the event, you can see a lot of great survival games, such as: Walheim that are not on offer. There are also games that offer demos or trial versions – such as The Quarry – during this event. If you love the genre, try browsing all the well-reviewed titles instead of just those at a lower price than normal.
